The Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Ali Mohieddin Al-Qaradaghi – Saturday – raised several doubts and questions about the killing of a French history teacher, after he showed his students cartoons offensive to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, in a school in a suburb of Paris.
In an article titled “The Real Killer Is Still Alive,” Al-Qaradaghi said that the course of the case indicated that it was a deliberate act by French intelligence.
In response to French President Emmanuel Macron’s comment on the incident, saying it is “Islamic terrorism,” Al-Qaradaghi said that “the malicious response from the dark corridors in France to dress Islam and Muslims as a terror, was a poor representative response.”
The Secretary-General of the Union of Muslim Scholars expressed his condemnation and total rejection of this event and all its manifestations and causes, but he questioned condemning, “Where is the wisdom of the professor in publishing drawings that affect the beliefs of his teenage students?”
He added, “Why does the French authorities not prevent the teacher from insulting the sanctities of the students’ religions, and why is there not enacting a law (in France) that punishes contempt for religions as well as contempt for Semitism?”
Al-Qaradaghi considered that the facts of the crime and the date of its occurrence “do not make us accept that the event is spontaneous,” and expressed his fear that the accident will result in France dealing with Muslims according to unfair laws.
He said, “Notice the immediate statements of the French authorities to realize that the work is deliberate, deliberate and deliberate,” and asked, “Is it not strange that the young criminal in the French film that we are convinced of is killed on the spot?”
He added, “Why was the murder student not arrested, investigated, and publicly tried, and to know who he is and what are the motives?”
He asked why Tarrant is still alive and in prison, while in France the accused is liquidated and statements that intimidate people from Islam and Muslims are made.
