Speech is also said to produce more droplets than coughing, which may be a more obvious mode of transmission.

  1. So, the NIH just diagnosed everyone with a case of ‘shut the hell up.’

I’m using this with the boss as much as possible.

  2. I knew it would be the extroverts who doomed us all.

  3. Here’s another study about from Japan:

It’s pretty crazy how micro droplets can spread or even hang in the air for hours if there is no ventilation.

This study made me realise that, probably far more than not washing your hands, walking in areas with droplet concentration is likely the biggest cause for the spread, which is why social distancing is so important.
Unventilated offices or care homes or hospital wards are ripe for catching it.

Edit: still wash your hands though!

  4. EVERYBODY SHUT THE FUCK UP….make this bitch like quiet place

  5. This news has made my nips pure hard

  13. The hits keep coming. When are we going to get some good news?

  16. Good. Stop talking to me. I just wanna scan your shit and get you outta my lane. I don’t care about your problems and I’m sick of hearing about this damn virus. Shut up and go away

  17. South Korea knew this like 2+ months back. They had rules that people aren’t allowed to speak during lunch, in addition to the other distance and sanitizing rules applied. It is amazing how a basic thing like droplet formation comes as damn news, months into this.

Yes, everything wet that comes from an infected persons airways can have the damn virus. Yes air tends to carry droplets. Yes droplets form when you use a wet hole and air pressure to form pressure waves into the damn environment, known as “sound”.

    Mind boggles.

  18. OMG! NIH finally found something that China has confirmed two months ago!

  19. Can I use this on my 9 year old daughter?
