The Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah announced the martyrdom of a Palestinian youth after being beaten and abused by the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Turmus Ayya in Ramallah in the West Bank.
Palestinian sources had reported that Amer Sanouber (18 years) and his friend were attacked by Israeli soldiers who intercepted their vehicle, which led to his death and the injury of his friend.
A medical source at the Palestine Medical Complex told Anadolu Agency that the young man’s body arrived at dawn with signs of beating that were said to be by Jewish settlers, according to his companions.
Later, the Israeli occupation army claimed that the Palestinian youth stumbled during their pursuit north of Ramallah in the central West Bank and hit his head on the ground, which led to his death.
The army said – according to the private 12 channel – that an Israeli citizen was informed at dawn of Sunday that her car had been pelted with stones near the village of Turmus Ayya, and when an army force rushed to the scene, it spotted two Palestinian youths trying to flee.
According to the Israeli version, the army force began chasing the two young men, and one of them fell and was hit in the head and lost consciousness. An Israeli medical squad that arrived at the scene later confirmed his death.
