And the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan stated – in a statement – that a group of 6 Armenian people yesterday attacked Azerbaijani soldiers in the Khojavin region near the town of Aghdam. As a result, one Azerbaijani soldier was killed and another was wounded.
The statement indicated that members of the Armenian group were killed, and that they were remnants of the Armenian forces remaining illegally in the region.
“Serious measures are being taken if similar events take place,” the ministry added.
On the other hand, Reuters said that the Armenian authorities responded to a question about this clash by saying that there had been no such incidents.
