Since its appearance in China late last year, the emerging corona virus has infected 33 million and 162 thousand people around the world, of whom more than a million have died, according to figures published by the French News Agency.
The outlook appears bleak, with the number of infections rising again in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, which reinforces fears of a possible second wave, while health restrictions imposed by governments are met with growing dissatisfaction with the population.
The United States remains the most affected by the number of deaths, with more than 200,000 deaths, followed by Brazil, India, Mexico and Britain.

2: 02 – 13 thousand injuries and 317 deaths in Brazil
The Brazilian Ministry of Health said that it had recorded 13,155 new confirmed cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours, as well as 317 deaths due to the disease.
Brazil has recorded more than 4.7 million HIV infections since the start of the epidemic, at a time when the official number of deaths rose to 142,58 cases, according to the ministry data.
1: 12- Deaths and injuries in Egypt
The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced 115 new cases of coronavirus, in addition to 18 deaths from the virus.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that “the total number that has been registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Monday, is 102,955 cases, including 95,586 cases that have been cured and 5901 deaths.”

Slovak Prime Minister Igor Matovic said his government has banned most public cultural and sporting events due to the accelerating spread of the Coronavirus.
He added that citizens should wear masks, avoid family gatherings and adhere to social distancing.
