After he was injured in the Syrian regime’s bombing of Idlib, the volunteer in the Syrian Civil Defense, Moaz Adlani, 28, decided to migrate to Europe, to escape the painful memories of the war that caused him a great psychological trauma.
Despite the facilities he obtained in Germany, Muadh did not find himself, rather he felt as if he was a body without a soul, and he used to follow the news of his country with intense burning and pain.
Upon following Moaz Facebook, he was influenced by an Italian activist who went to Greece with the aim of volunteering to help Syrian refugees coming via death boats, so he decided to return to Idlib without hesitation because his place is there, he says.
The people of Idlib did not believe Moaz’s return, so that his father was surprised at his return, and it was the last thing he expected that his son would suddenly return to Syria.
Today, Moaz is continuing his work, which he loved as a volunteer in the civil defense rescue teams, in addition to pursuing his university studies, which he dropped out of due to security conditions, because study is the most important for building Syria after the end of the war, according to his description.
