Eintracht Frankfurt jumped to the top of the German soccer league table temporarily by beating Hoffenheim 2-1 on Saturday in the third round, and Borussia Dortmund advanced to second place after their big victory at home to Freiburg 4-0.
Eintracht raised its score to 7 points in the lead, one point behind Dortmund.
Andrej Kramaric took the lead with a goal for Hoffenheim in the 18th minute, to top the scorers’ list with 6 goals.
Eintracht rose up in the second half, taking advantage of the opponent’s defensive retreat to score two successive goals for Daiichi Kamada and Bass Douste in the 54th and 71st minutes.
Whereas, the bright Norwegian star Erling Haaland led his team, Borussia Dortmund, to a big victory over Freiburg in the fourth, which scored two goals in the 31st and 66th minutes.
While Emery Chan scored the second goal in the 47th minute, Felix Paslak scored the fourth goal in the 90th minute.
