Arsenal and Roma survived a draw, while Napoli, Italy, lost at the start of the group stage of the European Football League, which began on Thursday.
In Group Two, Arsenal came from behind in a 2-1 victory over Austria’s Rapid Vienna.
Rapid Vienna led Arsenal with a goal scored by Taxiarchis Fontas in the 51st minute and maintained a full 19-minute lead.
Arsenal fought back to adjust the score, until David Luiz scored the equalizer in the 70th minute, followed by top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, scoring the winning goal 4 minutes later.
By the same score, Roma beat the Swiss Young Boys, who beat Roma in the 14th minute, with a penalty kick by Jean-Pierre Nsami.
But the Italian team’s attacks did not stop until the score was equalized, as Bruno Perez scored the equalizer, and 5 minutes later, Maraş Compola scored the winning goal.
In contrast to his performance in the Italian League, Napoli performed poorly and lost at home 1-0 to Alkmaar at the start of the Group G matches.
The guest winning goal was scored by Jasper Carlson in the 57th minute and he kept his lead until the final whistle.
