  1. Uboat escorts might work.

  2. >He said the diversion was “an act of modern piracy. This is no way to treat transatlantic partners.”

You’ll notice he used the term *partners* and not *allies*.

I don’t see this ending very well at all.

  3. Because China state news has no reason to write false or misleading news article, right? I think I’ll wait till I see this story from a believable source.

  4. Jesus, this debunked story just won’t go away.

  5. Honestly, I think an escort from our army would be a minor inconvenience for anyone trying to grab the shipment.

  6. And I don’t blame them. Securing such things right now is a matter of life and death and what the US seems to be doing will not be forgotten by those it does this against.

  7. You don’t need an army. You just need to actually buy and take possession of the masks. Sounds like they are getting snaked by the sellers. Sellers are selling to the highest bidder, even after accepting an earlier offer for less.

Pay, take possession and then take them back to your country.

Sorry things are getting rough and tumble out there, there are more buyers than product right now. But there’s no need to involve armies. Just don’t trust sellers. Pay and take possession before you get tricked again.
