  1. >Asked on the Today programme why people are defying government instructions, he said: “**I don’t know because it is very selfish.** The consequence of that costs lives and it means for everyone this will go on for longer …

You kept telling them *for years* that they don’t need to listen to the “elitist” experts. You kept *showing* them how innefective, pitiful and lame were the parliament and government, and how depleted the safety and security structures have become… You kept defunding everything that came into direct contact with the people you’re governing – the NHS, the police, the small-time local administration (and you invented multiple loops people have to jump through in order to get any kind of assistance from public servants) and then you pointed at those over-complicated public service institutions, procedures and rules and legislated or tried to legislate them into oblivion.

And **now** you’re wondering why people don’t pay attention?! This is like getting the fucking shovel and digging your own hole and then wondering how the hell would you get out of it without a ladder.

You **taught** lawlessness to the people. You’re reaping what you’ve sown.

  2. Ignorant , defiant behaviour is a vector.

Detention increases the risks , to them and others.

    It’s a tough one.
