  1. Hanta was big scare in the mid 90s in Canada. No one was worried about catching it from other people but sweeping up mouse shit in the garage or basement was going to kill everyone. I’m guessing mouse shit didn’t ever stop having hantavirus.

  2. It’s just the rat poop illness, nothing major to worry about.

  3. The U.S. had 728 cases since 2017. Hikers, campers, and folks living in rural areas can get it when they make contact with bodily fluids of infected rodents. Media just trying to stir up panic. https://www.cdc.gov/hantavirus/surveillance/reporting-state.html

  4. hanta virus isn’t new. It’s been around for ages, but the media will use this for even more fear mongering

  5. Let’s take the time to create more clickbait titles to raise more panic during a current pandemic and attribute it to the international boogeyman, China. China may have mismanaged the initial reaction to COVID-19, but so have other countries and people. Blame someone if they deserve it, but China does not deserve the blame for hantavirus.

Hantavirus has been around for a while, guys.

  6. another virus trying to join the server?

  7. Chinese government: *Cleary, this is not from China.*

  8. Can we stop importing stuff from China, like 5 months ago?

  9. Please stop racism. Racism will kill more people.

  10. Are we gonna rename Hantavirus into something else because it could be racist and stigmatising a place? Or not, because the name has nothing to do with China?

    Poor South Korea.

  11. Man, we’re still trying to contain corona and now we may have another one on the way. Need to get a ride out of this planet asap.
