According to a report by Sean Conley, the doctor of US President Donald Trump, that the president is no longer a source for transmitting Corona virus infection to others, after his first appearance yesterday, Saturday, at a public gathering from the balcony of the White House.
Conley said in a statement that Trump conducted a test on Saturday that showed that he no longer posed “a risk of transmitting infection to others,” adding that a variety of tests conducted by the president showed that there was no longer evidence of “active replication of the virus.”
Trump appeared at his first public event yesterday, Saturday, since he returned to the White House last Monday after staying in hospital for 3 days for treatment from the Corona virus.
Trump strongly attacked his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, and accused him of supporting what he described as acts of sabotage practiced under the guise of peaceful protests, he said.
For his part, Biden accused his rival Trump of irresponsibility, and called on him again to observe health conditions before attending election rallies.
A spokeswoman for the White House said that Trump will conduct an examination for the “Covid-19” disease caused by infection with the virus, and will not attend any public event if it is found that he is still a carrier of the infection.
Trump revealed that he had been infected with the virus on October 2, and doubts were arising about whether he was still a carrier of the infection, and he stated in previous statements that he was no longer suffering from symptoms of the virus that killed more than 210 thousand Americans.
Nationwide opinion polls show Trump retreated by a double digit difference to his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, but the gap between the two candidates has narrowed in swing states that are expected to win the race to the White House.
