The Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Deir Nizam, west of Ramallah, and imposed a siege on the village, after a settlement was injured when stones were thrown at its car near the village.
The occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests and searches of homes in the village, claiming to pursue the perpetrators of the settlement.
Israeli sources said that the settlement Rivka Titel, 30, was hit in the head, and was taken to Tel Hashomer Hospital, while she is in critical condition.
For her part, Guevara Al-Badiri, the Al-Jazeera correspondent in Ramallah, indicated that the settlement is the wife of Yakov Titel, who is described as a terrorist due to a series of crimes.
Titel is serving a life sentence after being convicted of killing two Palestinians, and he was also convicted of planting an explosive device that targeted an Israeli university professor who advocated for the rights of the Palestinian people.

Settlers’ attacks
The Al-Jazeera correspondent indicated that these events come after a wave of settler attacks on Palestinian villages in recent weeks.
She explained that, every night, settlers went to the Palestinian villages and demarcation lines, where they tried to storm Palestinian homes and threw stones at cars, and in one case, he was inside one of the houses that they tried to storm a few months old child.
She stated that the events of Deir Nizam bring to mind the story of the Palestinian Aisha al-Rabi, a mother of 8 children, who was killed in October 2018 after a settler attack on her with stones, by targeting a car that she was traveling with her husband, who was wounded.
