  2. All social media websites need to do this right now. I call out anyone I know personally that is spreading misinformation like “it’s not that bad” and “it’s an overreaction.” Anyone who feels comfortable doing that should do that in a public way so that we can apply social pressure digitally and get people to stay home. Even if you don’t change the mind of the person who posts that stuff, it will change the mind of people who are unsure who may respect/envy the person who posted and might follow blindly his/her advice.

  3. Last week, Twitter Inc barred users from posting misleading information about the new coronavirus, including denials of expert guidance and encouragement of fake treatments, tightening its normally lax rules around speech.

  4. I disagree with this completely. Censorship is never a good thing, whether from a government or a company.
