  1. >Newfoundland to see 130+ km/h winds, 40-70+ cm of snow, lasting to Saturday in worst-hit areas

    >Blizzard conditions linger well into Saturday

    >**9-12 metre storm surge** for parts of the Newfoundland coast

    >Winter storm warnings in effect for eastern Nova Scotia, risk of 10-20 cm for Cape Breton

    Well, shit.

    Stay safe, people.

  2. I’m here right now. Not great!

  3. It’s super fun. Can’t believe I still have power and internet.

  4. That storm surge is nuts. To put it in perspective, Hurricane Katrina maxed at around 8.5 metres of surge. Here they are calling for 9-12 metres in some places.

  5. This is for laughing at Vancouver on Wednesday!

  6. As a fellow Canadian you see those snow totals and think – ok thats a fuck ton, but doable. But then you see those winds and that storm surge – man that’s just insane.

    Stay safe out there!

  7. Guaranteed some of the boys are drinking on George Street tonight,

    Stay safe lads
