English clubs dominated the list of teams that spend the most on buying players in Europe and the world, during the summer transfer period that was closed last Monday, which Real Madrid missed by not spending any euros, in a unique precedent.
The list published by the Spanish newspaper “MARCA” (MARCA) included 12 clubs, including 5 English clubs, and Chelsea topped the list, where nearly half a billion euros were spent, contracted by a group of stars, including Kay Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Hakim Ziyash.
