  1. Imagine thinking the life of a patient/nurse/technician/doctor etc. is worth less than $70.

  2. A rather tiny fine. They should have also seized the masks because they were back at it the next day.

  3. Take em by force and drop them off at the hospital. They don’t look like they’d put up much of a fight.

  4. Oregon dude here with a question for Canadians…

It’s weird to me that 3 out of the 4 really egregious pandemic profiteering stories I’ve read in the last couple of days have been from BC. Just one story was from the US, but 3 from Canada and all of those from BC.

I’ve been to BC on vacation a couple of times and always thought the people were very civilized and all-around decent, so is it just a complete fluke with the 3 out of 4 thing or is there some other extra-assholish side of the locals up there that I missed on my visits?

  5. Let their greed carry them to the bottom of the ventilator/ICU wait list

  6. I’m so happy about this.

  7. The big banks are advocating for manufacturers to do this too so will they be charged for profiteering if they do?

  8. This is the kind of multicultral communities we are building. Just a bunch of people who see candians as suckers.

  9. When the capitalists are mad because they didn’t think of it first.
