Russia has become blown by international accusations after the Russian security forces arrested 3,500 demonstrators supporting the detained opposition Alexei Navalny in various parts of Russia, according to a Russian human rights organization.
Canada, the United States, the European Union and France condemned these arrests, and a number of Western capitals witnessed demonstrations in solidarity with Navalny demanding his release.
