  1. >the bulk of cases tied to the Shincheonji religious sect subsided.

A reminder that this sect was responsible for 60% of the cases in South Korea.

  2. ooo a church vs state. this will get juicy.

  3. In the States, the government won’t dare tell churches to close temporarily.

America will choke on it’s own antiquated ideals.

  4. Even if Turkey closed down all religious activity, mosques, churches and synagogues, South Korea or US can and should handle church stuff.

  5. Ice Cube taught me not to fuck with Korean Jesus, so we’re all good here.

  6. Church has 300,000 members. It doesn’t include community spread. Look at the numbers in and around Daegu. All that is from the cult unfortunately.

  7. Worst thing is that some pastors are saying “If we die it’s god’s will, but attendance of mass is mandatory” or “the air is clean here” types of bullshit. Literally saw an incognito interview with a pastor that said those things.

All to keep their revenue stream. Selfish bastards.

For reference, jesus actually said that you should prefer private prayer:

    > But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

These socalled pastors are both selfish greedy bastards but they’re also directly contravening the bible.

  8. *Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge.* ~Proverbs 14:7

*In everything the prudent acts with knowledge, but a fool flaunts his folly.* ~Proverbs 13:16

If only people read their Bibles and knew how much it says about foolish people like some of these South Korean churches…

  9. Yet again, South Korea proves itself the only smart country during this global crisis. As soon as this shit is over, I’m looking into immigration policies.

Best language, best internet, best pandemic response. Am I missing anything?

  10. Here in kerala india, we already arrrested a priest who did the mass against the orders.

  11. Nice. Wish the pussies here in the U.S. would do the same, instead of sucking those priest’s dicks.

  12. US states should do the same on states that have stay at home orders/etc.

    book em’ Lou!

  13. This is some of the best news I have heard this year. Religion has shown to be nothing but an exponential petri dish factory for this virus. Everything they do is the absolute worst things you can do in a time like this.

Let this be the beginning of the end to all religions, nothing but nonsensical, radical lunacy with some child molesting here and there.

  14. Sounds like the perfect time and situation to revoke tax exempt status.

  15. Need to take legal action against china
