Paris Saint-Germain kicked off the sixth round of the French Football League with a big win at home to Angers 6-1 on Friday, to score their fourth successive victory after two defeats and jump from seventh to the rankings.
The Brazilian star Neymar scored two goals for Saint Germain in the 36th and 47th minutes.
The goals of the French champions were completed by Alessandro Florenzi in the 7th minute, Julian Draxler in the 57th minute, Idrissa Gaye in the 71st minute, and Kylian Mbappe in the 84th minute.
While Angers’ only goal was scored by Ismail Traore in the 52nd minute.
Saint-Germain raised its tally to 12 points in second place, one point behind leaders Rennes and has yet to play in the sixth round.
Angers’ score stopped at 9 points to remain in eighth place, which he may retreat from after the end of the round matches.
