  1. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.businessinsider.com/satellite-images-show-iraq-base-damage-after-iranian-missile-attack-2020-1) reduced by 57%. (I’m a bot)

    > Satellite images show the damage after Iran launched more than a dozen missiles at bases housing US and coalition forces in Iraq early Wednesday morning – an attack that caused some damage but did not result in casualties.

    > Planet/Handout via REUTERS. The base facilities that were damaged in the strike appear to house equipment and aircraft rather than personnel, Dave Schmerler, an analyst with the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, told NPR. "Maybe they intended to strike sites with equipment over people," he said.

    > Planet/Handout via REUTERS. Speaking Wednesday, President Donald Trump announced that there were no American casualties and characterized the damage to the targeted installations as "Minimal.”

  2. Precision strikes or crap missiles? Our local kids do worse than that most Friday nights

  3. I’d like to know how much it’ll cost to repair all the buildings. Along with the AramCo attack, Iran should be sued for material damages by intl courts. It’s not officially a war, so it’s a valid legal case

  4. How did the US missile defense system fail to stop them?

Sure seems like an agreed-upon face saving move.
    And burying the jetliner crash…

Oopsie! Lets forget about that, cause we are trying to deescalate.
