The Emirati newspaper Al-Bayan said that Al-Nasr was close to signing Israeli midfielder Diaa Sabaa, to be the first Israeli player in the domestic league.
The Emirati newspaper reported, citing informed sources, that “negotiations between Al-Nasr and Diaa Sabaa have reached their final stages.”
She explained that it was agreed on the annual salary and the penalty clause that Al-Nasr will pay to the Chinese club, Guangzhou, in exchange for the transfer of its player to the UAE League.
According to the newspaper, the player is expected to arrive in Dubai within the next two days to officially sign his joining Al Nasr for a period of 3 years.

Israeli circles on the communication sites celebrated the news reported by Al-Bayan newspaper, and the “Israel in Arabic” Twitter page of the Israeli Foreign Ministry re-published the details of the upcoming move.
Seven (27 years) plays for the Chinese club, Guangzhou, and has previously played for Israeli clubs, such as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Abuel Beersheba, and has participated in 10 matches with the Israel national team.
