Manchester United owes the credit to French player Paul Pogba, who scored the game’s only goal in the 71st minute.
Manchester United raised its score to 36 points at the top of the standings, 3 points ahead of Liverpool, while Burnley’s score stopped at 16 points in 16th place.
In the second game, Everton snatched a difficult victory from Wolverhampton, with a goal scored by Alex Iwobi in the sixth minute, and Wolverhampton tied with Robin Neves’ goal in the 14th minute, and Michael Kean scored the second goal for Everton in the 77th minute.
Everton raised its score to 32 points in fourth place, and Wolverhampton stopped at 22 points in 14th place.
In the third game, Sheffield United snatched their first league victory of the season by beating home Newcastle 1-0.
Sheffield owes this victory to Billy Sharp, who scored the game’s only goal in the 73rd minute, from a penalty kick.
Sheffield raised its score to 5 points in the last 20 place, from one victory, two draws and 15 losses.
On the other hand, Newcastle’s balance – who has a postponed match – stopped at 19 points in the 15th place, receiving its eighth loss in the league this season in exchange for a win in 5 games and a draw in 4.
