  1. Meanwhile, the long awaited report on Russian interference in the UK’s political landscape won’t be released until after the election.

  2. If only there had been a report of previous election interference made publically available instead of being sat on by one of the people who had benefitted from that prior interference.

  3. Information, disinformation, propaganda and cyber warfare involving domestic and foreign actors. It is really going to be impossible to make a valid judgement on any particular event, to come to any conclusion about it’s origin or the reasons behind it. This is the future of all democratic elections.

  4. *Putin has entered the chat*

  5. Right well, that decides it for me. The Russians don’t want a Labour government, so I’m voting Labour.

(They probably don’t want a Labour government because they have invested so much money in the Torys).

  6. Oh wow what a surprise, shortly after Russia prepares isolating their entire infrastructure. Who would have thought?

  7. Did Squirrelly Dan write this title?

  8. King Boris is determined to win by a landslide and his Russian allies are helping.

  9. This is bad. People need to realise what private information/data can do. This is potentially = to insider trading in the stock market.

  10. As an American this all seems very familiar.

  11. Maybe labour did not update their windows

  12. Other reports suggest small scale DDOS. Fancy Bear it is not.

  13. It was a standard, short-lived DDOS attack and GCHQ have said there is no reason to suspect foreign state involvement. Probably some teenager in his bedroom.

  14. Oh look, Russia’s getting involved.

  15. > A Labour spokesperson said that the cyber attack failed because of their “robust” security systems and was confident no data breach had taken place.

No word about what this “attack” was, only that it didn’t work. Probably just trying to get in the news and they realize most people will just read the title and assume it’s Russian hackers. It could be anything from a Russian/Chinese attack to the 0-day bots that hit everyone all the time (or entirely fabricated as we have no way of knowing).

  16. It was a shitty ddos attack that anybody can pay a bot farm to do. But for some reason we have crazy Clinton running around screaming Russia Russia russia. Can you please leash her and keep her in your country and your shitty politics please America.
