The Saudi Crown Prince discusses with the Emir of Qatar ways to enhance Gulf action

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed – today, Tuesday – with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance Gulf action.

And according to what was reported by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting took place in the Maraya Hall in Al-Ula, northwest of the Kingdom.

This bilateral meeting is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia in years, after the conclusion of an agreement to end the Gulf crisis that has worsened since 2017.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, and his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani.

The Saudi Crown Prince accompanied the Emir of Qatar on a tour of the historic city of Al-Ula, which hosted the 41st Gulf Summit, according to local Saudi media.

That tour came after the runway of the Saudi Al-Ula airport witnessed a warm embrace between the Saudi crown prince and the Emir of Qatar, as soon as Sheikh Tamim arrived in the Kingdom.
