Brilliant Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored two goals, and midfielder Abdullah Ducuri added his first goal for Everton in the 3-2 victory over Fulham, as Carlo Ancelotti’s team returned to victories after 3 defeats in the Premier League.
Brazilian striker Richarlison, returning from suspension during three matches, picked up a missing ball and passed to Calvert-Lewin to turn it into the net, scoring his ninth goal in the league after 42 seconds into the match.
Fulham equalized through Bobby de Cordova-Reed in the 15th minute, but Everton continued their threat and were unlucky after a goal by Calvert-Lewin was canceled for offside as Richarlison missed an attempt with a low shot.
The visitors took the lead again when Calvert-Lewin followed Luca Denny’s pass into the net to top the Premier League scorer with 10 goals.
Denny continued his activity and set up the third goal with an elaborate cross pass that Ducure turned with his head into the goal in the 35th minute, opening his goalscoring tally with Everton after his move from Watford this season.
Fulham’s Ivan Cavallero slipped during a penalty kick to go outside the goal in the second half, while substitute Robin Loftus-Cheek narrowed the deficit with a shot that changed direction after the ball collided with Everton defender Jerry Mina.
Everton raised its score to 16 points in sixth place, and Fulham stopped at four points in seventeenth place.
