  1. This guy didn’t even do anything to or against Trump.

He just certified that Ukraine was eligible to receive the aid per the law.

This seems like one step beyond firing the brother of the guy who testified.

What’s next? Fire everyone who’s touched or looked at the Ukraine aid process?

  2. I hope more people realize that the only thing this administration has done that has significant impact is that they have drained the swamp into a larger and more corrupt swamp that has the realization that as long as they can keep the propaganda train running they can do whatever illegal shit they want and their base will stick to them like dog diarrhea on a furry cats ass.

I mean honestly the GOP could probably start casually bringing up lynching “liberals” and their base would be unphased and would probably hop onto Amazon to stock up on rope. Even when Trump is gone we are fucked. His supporters are in bullshit mountain and they ain’t coming out anytime soon.

  3. Boy, the turnover rate in this administration is unbelievable. Lol

  4. The purge continues now that Trump knows that he’s immune from consequences.

I wonder when he’ll try to start purging elected officials? We all know he wants to.

  5. The mass brain-drain from national government will be Trump’s second-longest lasting effect (federal court overhaul will be first).

  6. Isn’t there a law against retaliation of people who testified against you?

  7. He’s like that manager that fires you for following company policy because he doesn’t like the policy that day.

Except company policy is US law.

  8. Remember when trumpanzees were actually pushing (and believing) “drain the swamp”?

  9. As a Canadian federal employee, I don’t understand what is going on. Don’t you guys have any kind of protection for the employees? Trump has fired so many people for no good reasons and all these people have no legal recourse?

  10. Are you ready for the executive orders that nullifies the election if trump doesn’t win?

  11. Well, it looks like we’re officially in our generation’s McCarthy-esque witch-hunt. This is going to be a very not fun time

  12. Just throw the US constitution into the fire and just replace it with “The art of *Mein* Kampf”

  13. Evil is prospering while good men sit idle #fightthefuture

  14. With all these top officials leaving the Pentagon over the last few years, you guys will be lucky if you don’t bomb yourselves when your next war starts.

  15. I see big parallels between Trump’s appointment of Loyalists to key positions and the Chinese [Red Vs Expert](http://www.country-data.com/cgi-bin/query/r-2822.html) policies where toeing the Party Line was valued more than competence. Scary stuff.

  16. On the flipside, it may help his resume in the future that he was unofficially officially fired from the Trump administration rather than rode it out to full term.

  17. The Trump presidency = Dictatorship.

The USA’s downfall is pending thanks to the GOP.

Trump should = retards, narrow minded, short sighted, or greedy for power and wealth… OR all the above!

I have 0 empathy for the Trump supporters who suffer the consequences. You made your bed, now sleep in it.

  18. All the honest people are being persecuted and “ousted.” All the criminals are being rewarded. This is scary.

  19. He was criminally competent at his job. -Tump administration

  20. Mao had the Great Leap Forward. Trump has MAGA. Both ruthless fascists tearing down their countries and institutions.

  21. Just remember folks. Political parties are loyal to the party and not to the people.

  22. dear leader learned a lot from the impeachment

  23. “John Smith did not sufficiently wipe King Donald’s ass and was subsequently beheaded for his ineptitude.”

Welcome to the New American Kingdom of God Awful Fuckery, led by King Donald I of the Formerly Great United States.

  24. If Trump wins the election, he’ll probably want to send troops to Ukraine to help poor, persecuted separatists win their fight against evil, oppressive Ukraine regime. And millions of US citizens who have never seen the affects of war in their homeland would probably cheer him for it.

  25. When the presidency is corrupted it can blatantly be corrupted

  26. So…is it a good idea for any of the good people to resign? Won’t this leave the positions open so that he can fill them with dark, evil yes men?

  27. Isn’t it odd that ‘rump* has spent more time obsessing over corruption in *other* countries, while completely ignoring it in his own back yard?

  28. It should be obvious to anyone that Trump is working for the Russians and against US interests. He is a traitor and will go down in history as the 21st century Benedict Arnold.

  29. Stop resigning dumb shits. Stand your fucking ground.

  30. No Nono that guy is fired because he was bad at his job /s

  31. Perfect timing! Who could’ve seen this coming

    /s

  32. More distraction to keep everyone busy.

  33. Let’s see, who else did purges? Stalin. Mao. I don’t know specifically about Hitler, Mussolini and Franco, but they were all paranoid sociopathic narcissists, so probably.

  34. Trump might not be smart guys

  35. I hope the EU is taking a very close look at how the US is going to behave after the next election, because I’m not particularly fond of the idea of being so reliant on a borderline dictatorship.

If the US doesn’t take steps to prevent similar things from occurring in the future, the EU will need to step up and become its own defence pact and military force.

  36. > John Rood resigned Wednesday, saying he was leaving at Trump’s request.

Screw that. I would make the asshat fire me, and I would wear being fired by him as a badge of pride.

  37. trump doing facist things only a dicdator would do.

Republicans: HE IS CHOOSEN BY SKYDADDY!!!!

  38. NORTH ~~KOREA~~ AMERICA.

I can see why Trump pay so much attention to those dictator around the world. He is jealous of Xi Jin Ping president for life in China. He admire Kim Jong Un for his iron grip in North Korea. He also hate Hassan Rouhani for not sharing any tips on how to be dictator.

  39. Is George Lucas writing the White House script or something?

  40. This will likely get no upvotes, but Rood was an absolute asshat. I just spent a year at the Pentagon and the guy was one of the root causes of why the Joint Staff (I.e., the military) has been consolidating a lot more power/control in the Pentagon. Him being ousted has much more to do with him being a bad leader rather than being involved in Ukraine.

Don’t believe me? Here is a report from a few months back on how ostracizing of a figure Rood was.
