  1. Iran not acting according to an agreement they signed?

I wonder who’s playbook they got that idea from.

  2. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.reuters.com/article/us-iran-crash-protocols/u-s-iran-distrust-looms-over-tehran-air-crash-investigation-idUSKBN1Z72PT) reduced by 89%. (I’m a bot)

    > PARIS – The crash of a U.S.-built airliner in Iran with the loss of 176 lives looks set to strain fragile international protocols on co-operation in air disaster investigations at a time when the United States and Iran are mired in confrontation.

    > Coming shortly after Iran retaliated against a deadly U.S. drone strike against once of its top officials last Friday, immediately triggered fresh signs of distrust.

    > Ukraine's embassy in Tehran blamed engine failure for Wednesday's crash in Iran, only to retract quickly.

  3. Their refusal to turn the aircraft’s black box over to Boeing for examination and analysis will not do much to salve that distrust.

**Edit:** For all those jumping on the Downvote wagon, I understand perfectly well Iran’s reluctance to follow what would be normal post-accident protocol, and turn the evidence over to The Great Satan, but their refusal (thus far) to involve anyone else in examining and analyzing the data recorders from the aircraft, does nothing to reassure the world of the transparency of their investigation. That’s all I’m saying.

**Edit:** As is usually the case, with the passage of time, and more people getting involved, more comprehensive information is beginning to filter out.
