Recent footage broadcast by media outlets showed the moment the helicopter at Sabiha Gokcen Airport collided with a light pole and lost its balance.
Turkish media said that the accident occurred on December 31, 2020, when a gendarmerie helicopter was in the parking lot trying to park at Sabiha airport.
The media added that the helicopter hit the lamp post as it was running for refueling.
Images of the accident in which the propeller of the gendarmerie helicopter hit the lighting pole at the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport were revealed.
