We extended our hand in peace with Iran, but it targeted our oil installations

The Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, said that the Kingdom had extended its hand in peace with Iran, and dealt with it positively to build relations, but the Iranian regime targeted oil installations in the Kingdom last year.

King Salman said in a speech today, via video at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, that the Iranian regime continues to target the Kingdom with its ballistic missiles and drones, calling for a firm international stance that prevents the Iranian regime from developing its armament and stopping its sponsorship of terrorism.

He also called for peaceful coexistence and solidarity between the countries of the world and their peoples to face common challenges, indicating that the Middle East region has suffered from security challenges and is still suffering from them.

King Salman added that the Kingdom is one of the largest donor countries, and it did not discriminate in its aid on any ethnic or political basis, and that the Corona pandemic demonstrated the need to join hands to face common challenges among the countries of the world.
